Copyright and DMCA

Send notices to [email protected] with DMCA in the subject line.

Registration status: our designated agent registration with the U.S. Copyright Office is in progress. Until it completes we cannot claim DMCA safe harbour, and we are not pretending otherwise — but notices sent to the address above are read and acted on exactly as described below.

To be actionable, a notice needs all six of these. Missing items will slow us down or make it impossible to act.

1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner, or of someone authorised to act for them.
2. Identification of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed.
3. Identification of the material on TestersWiz you want removed, with a URL specific enough for us to find it — a listing page address, not "your website".
4. Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
5. A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
6. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorised to act for them.

Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing can make you liable for damages, including costs and legal fees. Please be sure.

1. We acknowledge receipt and review the notice for the elements above.
2. If it is complete, we remove or disable access to the material expeditiously.
3. We notify the person who submitted it, with a copy of the notice, so they can respond.
4. If they file a valid counter-notice, we forward it to you. Unless you tell us within 10 business days that you have filed a court action seeking to restrain the activity, we may restore the material.
5. Every notice and every action is logged.

Removing a listing does not cancel a campaign that is mid-flight. Where testers are already committed to a 14-day window, we remove the infringing material and contact the parties rather than stranding people who have done nothing wrong.

If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, send a counter-notice to the same address containing:

1. Your signature.
2. Identification of the removed material and where it appeared before removal.
3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
4. Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your address (or, if you are outside the United States, any judicial district in which we may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the complainant.

Accounts that repeatedly submit infringing material are terminated. This policy is enforced in practice, not merely published — a policy that exists only on a page is worth nothing, and platforms have lost protection for exactly that.

For trademark complaints, impersonation, or anything else not covered by copyright, email the same address describing the issue. Note that "Google Play" is a trademark of Google LLC and TestersWiz is not affiliated with Google; we reference it descriptively.

Content that breaks our rules but not the law is handled through the Moderation Policy instead.
